Adapt: School

For this project I worked with a team of volunteers to create a school campus master plan. We traveled to Ethiopia to view and document the site and completed preliminary drawings while in country over two weeks. I designed the administration building which will be the entry to the school campus. I divided the structure into two buildings, one for private and one for public activities with a grand breeze-way leading to the main campus. The ability to grow as capital is available is a key factor in the design because building is funded with donations. I created dead-end hallways with windows that could later be removed to extend the building. I used hand sketching while in country and AutoCAD to complete the project.
